Black and white photographs of wedding cars

Classic or vintage themed weddings usually involve cars from the 1920′s to 1950′s to set the theme for the day. Not only do the older cars fit the traditional nature of the wedding celebration they help the photographers craft images that replicate a by-gone-era. Early photography produced sepia (or brown and white) toned images. This was later refined to black and white images and eventually to full colour photography. In the days of digital colour photography, photographers now convert colour images to sepia or B&W to capture the mood of past eras.

It is now common for couples to use vintage jewelery, fashion themes, accessories and classic limousines to set the theme of the wedding and monochrome photography to capture the day.
