The Bridal car

The bridal car is usually a feature car for the bride and father on the way to the ceremony; then the bride and groom for photos and on to the reception. A Belle Classic Jaguar Mk5 convertible or sedan, Rolls Royce or an elegant Bentley Mk6 are perfect bridal cars.

Having a separate bridal car provides an opportunity for parents and the bride to share special thoughts on the way to the ceremony. Following the ceremony the short journeys between photo locations and on to the reception are often the only times the bride and groom get to share their experiences and thoughts of the day away from the demands of the bridal party and other well-wishers. Whilst a separate bridal car is not essential, it is often noted as a special memory of many couples who choose one.

The Bridal Party – Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Flower Girls and Page Boys

The bridesmaids (and flower girl and page boy) usually accompany the bride to the wedding. Depending on the size of the bridal party either a complementary or matching Jaguar Mk5 sedan or Bentley Mk6 sedan for a bridal party of 2-4; a Daimler or Jaguar limousine for a bridal party of 3-6; or a 9-11 seat Lincoln or Chrysler limousine is suitable for larger bridal parties. Current seat belt laws require children to be correctly restrained,  as many of the classic cars are not required to and do not have seat belts, please confirm transport of young members of your bridal party. Children under seven will need to be carried in the more modern limousines or in an accompanying vehicle with suitable restraints.

The groom and groomsmen traditionally arrive at the ceremony 20-30 before the bridal party to greet and meet the guests. A complementary or matching car to the bridesmaids’ car makes for spectacular photos and a special journey to photo locations and the reception.

Bridal car and limousine

The bridal car is still usually a feature car for the bride, father and/or mother on the way to the ceremony; then the bride and groom for photos and on to the reception.

The bridesmaids accompany the bride to the wedding in a limousine big enough to carry the entire bridal party after the ceremony.

The groom and groomsmen are driven to the ceremony in a Belle Classic Bentley or Jaguar sedan or by friends or relatives 20-30 before the bridal party, then are transported in the bridal car and bridesmaids limousine to photos and on to the reception.

Ceremony and reception at the same venue

The bridal car is still usually a feature car for the bride and father on the way to the ceremony. After the ceremony the bride and groom can have photos taken with the cars at the reception venue or drive to other photo locations in the area.

Alternatively, separate cars for the bridesmaids and groomsmen can be made available when required and retained for transport to external photo locations.

Of course these are just a few of many possibilities.

Loop-de-loop

If the bride chooses to get ready for the day near (within ten minutes drive) to the ceremony venue, the wedding cars can easily deliver the groom and groomsmen to the venue and circle round to bring the bride and bridesmaids.

Photo Opportunities

One of the highlights of the day is often the time spent between the ceremony and reception visiting one or more locations for photographs with the bridal party. Remember to plan some time out (at least 10-15 minutes) to sit and relax – it is often the only break you will get from dawn until midnight.

Late night get-away

Belle Classic provides a late night get-away from the reception to your hotel. Be confident your end of night transport is on time and free of alcohol. Belle Classic drivers will be friendly and patient – the last thing you need at the end of the night is to be hustled by a driver trying to hurry you along because he has a following commitment.

Late night transfers use modern cars or a Daimler limousine, classic cars by special arrangement when available.

Transport can also be arranged for your special guests if required.
