Wedding Cars at Brookside Winery
Brookside Winery is the perfect venue for couples planning a small wedding and looking for a rustic country cottage atmosphere. Unlike many of the big name Swan Valley wineries, Brookside is more about the relaxing ‘small farm’ atmosphere and less about commercial wine production. It is a great venue for a weekend drive and lunch and a wander along the creek through the fields and vines. The drive through Bickley valley reminds me of many country roads in rural England.
The cafe / reception building is a rustic farm shed probably used for fruit packing in its early life. The rustic charm and isolation.
The real treasure of the venue is the grounds and atmosphere. It is perfect for a small ‘all at one venue’ garden wedding. Following the ceremony your guests can wander through the gardens or you can have a cocktail hour while you get feature wedding photos with your photographer.
Limo access at Brookside Winery
The winery is serviced by a narrow gravel drive. It has limited space for large limousine (such as Chrysler limos) to turn and negotiate the property. The nature of the location is definitely more suited to classic or vintage wedding cars like the Jaguar Mk5 convertible featured in these pictures. The best scenario for a small wedding is to hire a beautiful bridal car for the brides entrance and to stay on site for your feature photography.
