It was a fun day assisting with Simon and Ya’s wedding yesterday. The inner city wedding visited some of the classic city photo locations on the way to their celebration dinner.
On a picture perfect day the iconic blue boat shed never fails to deliver as a fantastic backdrop for wedding photography. With little breeze and the short distances between the photo locations the couple enjoyed a top down cruise through the streets of Perth.
Following the rivers edge around Matilda Bay there are many great outlooks over the Swan River and a mix of interesting photo locations.
Matilda Bay and Kings park offer a great range of backdrops all within a few minutes drive of each other so it a great destination for near city weddings.

It was a surprising situation when two beautiful Border Collies chose to take the opportunity to pose too.
