The Red Herring has been sold, closed and is being redeveloped, reportedly as a Dome cafe.

Limo access
Access to the Red Herring car park is straight forward for classic wedding cars that can make the sharp turn off Riverside Road from either direction. Stretch limos like Chrysler and Hummer limousines need to be traveling south along Riverside Road to access the car park entrance to the venue. The best access is achieved via Preston Point Road and entering Riverside Road from Pier Street or Wauhop Road.
Once in the car park access to the venue and the exit is straight forward. It is important to remind guests using the venue car park not to park in the drop-off bays next to the venue entrance. There limited parking for longer stretched limos when the car park is near full and in many cases the limousine will need to make a quick exit to allow other vehicles to drive through the car park.
