Wine Tour in the Swan Valley

Jaguar limousine wine tour

Lisa organised a limo wine tour of the Swan Valley for a fun day out with friends visiting from overseas. The Jaguar Mk5 limousine was the ride of choice for the summer tour of the valley.

Wine tours are a great way to enjoy quality time with friends in a relaxed environment. The Swan Valley has over sixty venues to choose from to make a unique schedule for your day that includes locations that indulge your tastes and preferences.

Pinelli Winery is a fun starting point for a Swan Valley tour

Pinelli Winery is a fun family run business that honours the tradition of selling wines in flagons as well as a range or premium wine including several sweeter varieties which are becoming rarer in the valley.

The stop at Lancaster Winery is always highly rated

The period from late summer through to winter is especially good for wine lovers looking to top up their wine cellar. Many varieties at the vineyards will be nearing the end of the previous vintage and many wineries start clearing stock to make way for the next vintage so there are some bargains to be found.

A quick stop at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory

The best thing about hiring a limousine for your Swan Valley wine tour is the flexibility available to mix up the day and drop into some of the produce businesses for a quick sample of their wares. The Margaret River Chocolate Factory is a favourite for groups with a sweet tooth.

The central point for the day is the lunch stop. On this tour Feral Brewery was the lunch destination. Not only does it have many of Australia’s most awarded beers, Feral offers a great range of grazing plates and meals to make the lunch stop a hit.

Post lunch our group chose to visit the House of Honey and Mondo Nougat for a dessert fix before heading on to Mandoon Estate to finish the day. In a departure from the regular wine tour Lisa’s group caught the train from Fremantle to Guildford Station for the starting and end point of the tour which helped to reduce the cost of the day by removing the limo transfers either side of the tour.
