Discount wedding limousine hire
As you are no doubt aware the wedding industry is seasonal with the great majority of weddings occurring during spring, summer and autumn. If you are planning a winter wedding you can expect to make savings across many services required on your wedding day. At Belle we love to keep the wheels turning and offer savings or 10 – 50% off regular packages for limousine hire. The longer the hire the greater the saving.
Benefits of winter weddings
Despite the higher risk of wet weather many winter wedding days are cool clear and filled with soft sunshine which is perfect for wedding photography.
When planning your wedding transport there are four clear benefits.
No minimum hire
Our wedding cars and limousines earn their keep across the summer months when high demand means we will usually stick to minimum hire rates. In winter we have the flexibility to assist with short transfers at greatly reduced rates compared to the summer pricing schedule. We’ll happily custom quote your winter wedding and in most cases will work to your budget.
More flexible options
It is common for us to have the flexibility to use multiple cars in a single wedding hire, especially for Swan Valley weddings. A recent example was delivering the bridal party to Sittella Winery from Wanneroo in a Chrysler limousine and swapping the limo for a Jaguar Mk5 bridal car at the venue for wedding photography during the afternoon.
Cheaper rates
Winter rates will always be to your advantage (compared to our regular schedule). The greatest saving will be for extended hire weddings and multiple wedding limousine bookings.
We will meet or beat any competitors price for like wedding cars or limousine for a winter wedding and you get the security and experience of a Belle Classic Limousines full service booking.
Last minute limo hire
For whatever reason many winter bookings are made close to the wedding date. On most winter wedding dates we will have cars available and can schedule drivers with short notice. Ring with confidence even if you fear you have left your planning a little late.
Winter wedding limousines
If you are planning a winter wedding here are some issues to consider:
Rainy day weddings
We have a page dedicated to rainy day weddings. One of the most important differences on wet days is travel time increases due to the conditions. Build extra time into your schedule when booking your transport. The longer the drive the more time you should add.
Umbrellas
Our limousines are equipped with sufficient umbrellas for the passengers in the wedding car or limousine. Our umbrella theme is black and white although there may be some variation depending upon availability season to season. The individual clear plastic umbrellas are available from bridal shops or from the internet if you want that style. Whilst effective they are not as durable as the golf-style umbrellas we use.
Jaguar Mk5 convertibles
The Jaguar convertible wedding cars are waterproof with the roof up. If you book a Jaguar convertible during winter and your wedding day is one expecting continual heavy rain there is usually the option to change to a regular sedan based bridal car on short notice. The sedans are easier to enter and exit on a very wet day than the convertible with the roof up.
Gravel roads and off-road ceremony locations
There are several venues in Perth with gravel driveways or entrance roads. Be aware that the pea pebble based gravel roads turn into a sticky red clay on very wet days. Whilst we will always try to drop-off in the driest most accessible point at your venues. We cannot prevent the possible spatter of red clay from getting onto the wheels and sides of your wedding car. Your wedding party need to take greater care to keep their clothes and shoes clean on wet days.
Some venues have parkland or riverside ceremony locations which are usually accessed by driving off-road and across lawn areas. Some of these locations become quite boggy after long periods of rain. Whilst our normal policy is to facilitate an entry across the lawns to the ceremony this may not be possible on very wet days. The larger heavier Chrysler limousines are most at risk of bogging in these conditions. Your driver will assess the situation on the day and make the final call. It is very rare for the limousines not to be able to access your ceremony location.
Venues where access or gravel drives may be an issue:
Bells Rapids – red clay based gravel roads
Chapel Farm – red clay based car park
Millbook Winery – red clay based roads through the venue
Moondyne Retreat – red clay based gravel access roads
Mulberry on Swan – the riverside ceremony location is grass on a soft clay soil base
