Limo Access at Ambrose Estate
Ambrose Estate is the name of the function and reception centre situated at the Wembley Golf Course. Opened at the end of 2016 the brand new facility has sweeping views over the golf course lakes and fairways. It is one of only a few reception centres located west of the city.
As well as the golf course and driving range the location also has an exciting mini-golf course and a fabulous restaurant 300 Acres where you can spend a night to check out the level of catering available.
Weddings at Ambrose Estate
The function area boasts sweeping views over the golf course and picturesque lakes and a large balcony from which to admire the outlook. The modern styling is clean and easily adapted to help create your unique style. There is also a bridal suite for yu to freshen up on arrival before entering the reception.
Ceremony locations
Wedding ceremonies held on site are usually down by the lakes, however, the venue is probably open to other locations that do not interfere with golf or put your guests at risk. When it first opened we were able to deliver the bridal party to a lakeside ceremony but during construction of the mini-golf course this was not possible. Currently the venue prefers to deliver the bridal party to on-site ceremonies using a golf buggy. Our vintage bridal cars can access the venue but you would need to negotiate that with the venue if it is your preference.
Wedding car and limousine access
The reception centre is accessed through the Wembley Golf Course parking lots. There is a dedicated set down zone at the entrance to Ambrose Estate reception centre which is large enough for bridal cars as well as stretch limousines.
If you are planning a lake side ceremony you will probably meet the golf buggy lift to the ceremony here and you can also make use of the bridal room to freshen up beforehand if you wish.
Parking at Ambrose Estate
On a casual visit it will seem that there is lots of parking available at the venue. Be aware that this popular golf destination and driving range will be very busy on weekends catering for the golf community. If you add the restaurant diners and a full wedding party of guests all driving cars to the mix you can imagine how crowded the car parks can become. It may be worth letting your guests know that parking may be an issue because there is no off-site parking within an easy walk to the reception venue. Chauffeur cars, taxis and Uber are a good alternative to get to a wedding reception where guests will be drinking alcohol. Only pre-booked bus or chauffeur cars are a reliable exit strategy around midnight. On demand transport options like taxis and Uber are at peak capacity near midnight and Ambrose Estate is far enough away from the busy city locations that few cars are likely to be available at short notice.
