Classic wedding photography
A wedding on the weekend featured photography at St Charles Seminary in Guildford. Arabella and Cameron used a pair of Jaguar Mk5 sedans as wedding transport for the day, and they worked beautifully with the vintage-themed wedding.
The wedding started formally with the ceremony at St Joseph’s Church in Subiaco before heading out to Guildford in the Swan Valley for a vintage photo session at the seminary and the adjacent fields. The picnic theme with period props including hessian sacks will no doubt produce some timeless wedding photography.
St Charles Seminary is coming back into vogue as a photo location with a few photographers now targeting the venue on the way to a Swan Valley wedding reception. If you are considering using the venue it is important to let staff at the venue have advance warning of your intensions.
The venue has lovely tree lined drive, easy access off Meadow Street and both river and historic buildings as to provide some beautiful period backgrounds for wedding pictures.
The beautiful bouquets added to the period charm of the day. In a first for us the couple returned to Perth for their reception at City Farm.
