Wine tour surprise proposal
A wine tour for two through the Swan Valley is a wonderful way to warm up to the special moment. Maybe pop the question over a romantic lunch or picnic and enjoy another few stops along the way to a hotel or concert to finish off a memorable day.
There are many locations in the valley where you can propose while taking a stroll through the vineyard or down by the Swan River or while having lunch at a winery looking out over the scenery.
If you are more adventurous why not ‘bend the knee’ in front of a group of your best friends during the early part of a wine tour and celebrate for the day.
Of course the end of the day doesn’t need to be a drive back home. We can drop you at Crown Perth or venue of your choice where you have pre-booked a room for the night.
Popular restaurants used for proposals
Proposals often are linked to a romantic night or day out at a restaurant, winery or hotel with the actual proposal being somewhere special in the vicinity or the classic restaurant table proposal with the ‘ring in the glass of champagne’.
Other common restaurant themes are a stop on the way to or from a night out at a special restaurant. A surprise pre-booked hotel is a wonderful way to finish the evening.

Blue Water Grill
The night started out as a simple dinner at the Blue Water Grill. We arrived a little early and took a sunset walk along the Swan River foreshore. Simply beautiful location, city lights in the distance and a chauffeured limousine for a romantic cruise to a city hotel or Crown Casino.
Boatshed Restaurant
Same story different location. We were picked up from Perth in a vintage Jaguar convertible and arrived at the restaurant a little early so walked out onto the jetty at sunset…. what ever your story, we would love to help.

We were at the restaurant celebrating ….. and decided to take a walk and check out the city lights after dinner. You’ll never guess what happened next?
Indianas
We were picked up in a chauffeur car to go to the OBH after work for a drink with friends. They didn’t show up so just before sunset he said lets go for a walk on the beach…. then he had booked the Indiana Tea House for dinner, it was amazing.
Matilda Bay Restaurant
Another beautiful riverside location with views back to the Perth city lights at sunset. We can drop you at Matilda Bay with a picnic blanket, ice bucket and champagne…. followed by a leisurely stroll to Matilda Bay restaurant for a romantic meal looking back over the view.
Mosmans Restaurant
Mosmans Restaurant has a beautiful ambience and access to the jetty is via the restaurant so a walk to the jetty to look over the river is a natural thing to do between courses if you wish to propose there. The staff will also be helpful to set you up with the right table and drinks if you wish to do some pre-planning with the venue.
Swan River parks and outlooks
A more common proposal evening is a chauffeured classic car or limousine ride to a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The cruise can include a tour of the Swan River foreshore and/or Kings Park where you can propose in your preferred location. One of many small parks along the river is popular.

Sunset cruise with walk at the beach
Perth is blessed with some of the best beaches in the world. Watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean is a romantic place and time to pop the question. Belle Limos will happily provide a classic chauffeur service using a classic car or Chrysler limousine to the beach of your choice, wait for the magic to happen and be there for a following transfer to a restaurant, city hotel or the Crown Metropol (for example) to complete your very special night.

Since the opening of Elizabeth Quay the gondola is back on the Swan River. A peaceful champagne cruise along the Swan River on a calm evening is a very romantic place to propose or set the scene for the following events leading up to your proposal.
Kings Park proposal locations
There are many fantastic spots in Kings Park to set up your proposal. There are a variety of private outlooks and sitting places along the river-view walking trails as well as the popular city outlook positions along Fraser Avenue near Frasers Restaurant.
Sharing the love
We have assisted with several very public proposals over the years. Whilst many guys prefer an intimate setting just for the two of you, we have had quite a few guys included the friends of their beloved in an intricate proposal plan.
For some the announcement is shared by a crowd with curious on-lookers waiting for something to happen around a massive set of ‘marry me’ love letters set up in Kings Park (for example).
The explosion of very creative and public proposals captured on You Tube videos has certainly resulted in more guys setting up proposals in public events like football stadiums and theatres where the surprise factor is absolute.
Unique and creative proposals
One of our more extravagant proposals involved the Chrysler limo picking up the girlfriend from outside a city office at the start of her lunch break. The beau phoned to say he was running late for their lunch date and had organised a lift to ‘bring her to lunch’. To her surprise the limousine drove out of the city and headed south and she was still in the limo well after she was meant to be back at work. This proposal involved quite a bit of forward planning.
The limo dropped her at Jandakot Airport helipad where she was met by the helicopter pilot who took her on a joy-ride (her first helicopter flight) along the Swan River to the Burswood heli-pad. Waiting there was a classic Jaguar convertible and the next piece of a puzzling afternoon. The convertible ride dropped her at Crown Metropol with an envelop containing a key to a suite in the hotel. What a great place to propose, on a balcony at the Crown over-looking the Swan River and the city. With the hotel booked for the weekend your engagement celebration can continue through to Sunday with all of the Crown Casino venues at your doorstep.

Love Letters are an ‘in your face’ way to set the scene. Imagine walking over the crest of a hill or a dune at the beach to a huge MARRY ME on the horizon. Romantic plus.
Who would do that? Imagine a walk along the river heading to one of the venues above and there in the distance is a huge set of letters saying I LOVE YOU. She would be thinking ‘how romantic, who does that?’. The never expect that it could be you and the effort was all for them.

It was amazing fun
Helicopters have featured in several proposals we have assisted with. It may take some planning but their are several locations around Perth where the helicopters can land for pick-ups and drop-offs.
We can assist with limousine transfers to the helicopter or from a drop-off location to facilitate your plans. Whilst the helicopters are based at Jandakot they can arrange to pick-up and drop-off at various locations around Perth. There is a helipad at Crown Casino for instance. Discuss locations with the helicopter hire business. We can be there in a limousine when you land.
