Brendan’s Impossibly Good Birthday

Shannon decided to organise a Mission Impossible 30th birthday surprise for Brendan and the resulting day was an action packed adventure. The Chrysler limo kept them moving between locations in luxury.

The challenges started with a fast paced drive in a V8 super-car at the Perth Airport test track and a hand-gun show down at the Lone Ranges shooting complex. The Mission Impossible hand gun packs a punch – it is scary to think that a huge percentage of Americans walk the streets with one of these on their hip. Brendan also had a blast with a ‘Dirty Harry’ magnum which punched centimeter diameter holes in the targets.

After a quick re-fuel at a food hall it was off to Jandakot Airport for some serious fun in an acrobatic plane. Brendan rated doing loop-de-loops and free-falling in the plane over Cockburn Sound as the most challenging experiences of his life. His pilot who was old enough to be his grand-mother is an inspiration to the motto ‘live life to the full’.

For the final challenge it was off to AQWA in Hillarys Marina to snorkel with the sharks and other marine life in the aquarium. By the end of the day Brendan was ready to celebrate in the limo with friends during the cruise to the Burswood Intercontinental for a celebration feast and a good nights rest.
