The Rose and Crown Hotel
The Rose & Crown is a local icon in Guildford near Perth. It is also our local pub. It is a personal favourite for a casual meal or a fully fledged outing with friends or family.
The garden setting outside the hotel is one of Perth’s best alfresco dining experiences, great food, great beer and friendly staff. The lively venue has the ability to cater for hundreds of people in the various bars and outside seating nooks and still feel relaxed. The cellar convicts’ bar is a highlight of the hotel featuring the original cell used to house convicts who helped to build the early infrastructure of Guildford at the start of the Swan River settlement.
Weddings at the Rose & Crown
The Rose and Crown Hotel also has a wedding function room and chapel which sits behind the stables and has a separate entrance away from the Hotel patrons. The venue is popular for smaller wedding receptions and for couples looking for a Swan Valley venue with accommodation for out of town guests.

Accommodation
With a mix of traditional and modern accommodation units making, it a great location for interstate guests attending Swan Valley weddings. The hotel is in close proximity to the Guildford train station and the historic Guildford shopping precinct and Swan River walks. It is an interesting location to spend a few days in Perth.
Limousine access at the Rose and Crown
Built in the days of the horse and cart the driveway and parking bays in the hotel grounds cannot cater for larger stretched limousines such as Hummer and Chrysler limos. Stretch limousines will need to drop guests on Swan Street to walk through the car park or around the hotel to access the reception rooms at the rear of the stables.
Classic wedding transport like a pair of Jaguar Mk5 wedding cars is more suited to the Rose and Crown and can deliver the bridal party to the entrance of the reception venue.
Parking
A small car park is visible from Swan Street and a larger car park is located at the rear of the stables and motel units. Larger limousines and wide four wheel drive vehicles should not consider accessing the rear car park from Swan Street because of the narrow lane beside the stables.
