Christchurch Grammar School Chapel
The school chapel at Christchurch Grammar has an outstanding view of the Swan River from the the windows along the southern side of the chapel. It is a popular wedding ceremony location for Christchurch Grammar old-boys and families with connections to the school.
Wedding car access to the chapel
Access to the chapel lawn as shown in the photographs is via the main school entrance and then through a security gate before negotiating a narrow road between some school buildings. Once near the chapel lawn there is limited space to turn and back into the driveway indicated. It is easy for classic wedding cars and small limousines but not suitable for larger Chrysler limousines or Hummers.
Having noted that, it is easy to say that a traditional Rolls Royce wedding car seems the most suitable form of wedding transport for Christchurch Grammar families. If a stretch limousine is required for a large wedding party it can drop off the wedding party in the front car park so they can walk to the chapel while the feature bridal car follows with the bride and family making her entrance.
