Restaurant and winery
If you are looking for a day’s outing from Perth with a lunch to celebrate a special occasion, then Millbrook Winery will be a pleasant solution. The restaurant is highly regarded, and the drive up into the foothills around Jarrahdale is very scenic. The venue often books functions and weddings, so it will be wise to book in advance to know the restaurant is available for casual dining.
Weddings at Millbrook Winery
Belle Classic Limousines assists with many weddings at Millbrook Winery each year and couples always speak favourably about the venue.
The view from the reception area across the lake at sunset is breathtaking and a wonderful backdrop as the evening embraces your celebration. There is easy access to the lakeside ceremony location.
If there is a downside to Millbrook Winery is is the distance for guests to drive home after the reception. In our experience couples often provide small bus transport for guests to and from the venue to various central locations.
Weding car and limousine access to Millbrook Winery
Millbrook Winery is about a one hour drive from the Perth CBD so requires some logistical planning if the ceremony location is not at the winery. Classic wedding cars are popular with couples who choose the winery for their wedding.
In many weddings we have assisted at, the couple had an early ceremony in the city followed by family and feature photographs at one or two locations before heading to the winery for a early 4.30 – 5.00pm arrival to take advantage of the scenic locations at Millbrook Winery during the late afternoon.
Another popular choice for Millbrook Winery weddings is for the bridal party to stay at a Jarrahdale B&B the night before the wedding. The bridal cars pick up at Jarrahdale for a short drive to an on-site ceremony.
The entrance to Millbrook winery is easy to find during daylight but can be difficult for first time visitors after dark.There is ample room for Chrysler limousines to circuit the winery. Drop-off and late night get-away pick-ups are usually at the restaurant entrance behind the winery.
The narrow roadway to the winery, and driveway into the winery can be a little confronting in the dark if driving a stretch limousine of bus without prior knowledge of the layout of the venue.
End of night get-aways
Late night get-aways from Millbrook Winery are usually booked as part of the wedding car hire. It can be difficult to organise a late night chauffeur service from Millbrook Winery at short notice. If a large demand is likely in the metro area small charter operators will prefer a couple of local transfers to travelling to Jarrahdale. We only use modern chauffeur cars and Chrysler limousines for end of night get-aways from Millbrook due to the large number of kangaroos often encountered on the drive to and from the venue at night.
