Pinelli Estate Wines
Pinelli winery is one of our favourite stops on a wine tour. The family owned and managed winery is an authentic Swan Valley vineyard established by father Dominic after a career working in renowned Perth wineries.
I love the family feel and unpretentious friendly atmosphere of the winery operated by three brothers continuing the family tradition. This is a rare winery that produces a full range of premium wines while also offering a range of popular flagon wines which are not widely available in the valley. The winery recycles the flagons which is to be commended in our disposable society. It is one of the few wineries with onsite bottling facilities.
Wine tours at Pinelli Estate Wines
Pinelli is at the south western edge of the valley and is often a starting point for our wine tours.
The wines on offer are possibly the largest single vineyard range in the Swan Valley. For wine lovers who like their wines a little sweeter Pinelli has a selection you will appreciate. There is also the usual selection of dry Swan Valley white wines and bold reds including a Durif which is a rarer grape varietal in Western Australia.
Fillaudeau’s Restaurant
Fillaudeau’s French themed restaurant runs independently on the grounds of Pinelli Winery. Owner and head chef manu has built the restaurant into a popular dining venue enjoyed regularly by a large number of Swan Valley residents and for special occasions by people from all over Perth who have leant about the restaurant on a wine tour or through friends praising the venue.
It is a perfect wine tour lunch stop for groups seeking an upmarket a la carte menu with a large range of meals which are reasonably priced.
